Composition

• Quartzline SA Unicoat is a 1-component water-based acrylate coating.

Use

• As a finishing coat for iron, steel, stainless steel and galvanised steel.

Properties

• User-friendly coating.
• Almost odourless.
• Good adhesive properties.
• The coating is elastic and waterproof.
• Dries rather quickly, depending on the conditions (temperature, humidity and dew point).
• Allergy-free.
• Available in any RAL colour, other colours available on request.
• Viscosity according to Brookfield is 1800 - 2200 mPa.s at 20°C, Spindle LV4 and 30 RPM.

Application

·         Substrate must be derusted according to Sa2 or St2 standard.

·         Substrate must be dry, degreased and all dust must be removed.

·         The coating must be thoroughly mixed before use.

·         Can be diluted with clean water if required.

·         Apply using a paint roller or brush.

·         Spraying is also possible (nozzle 015-023).

·         Minimum application temperature 5°C.

·         Maximum relative humidity of 80% at 20°C.

Consumption

• approx. 200 g/m²

Packaging

• 5 litres, 10 litres, 20 litres, 100 litres or 1000 litres.

Shelf life

•  In closed packaging and frost-free at least 6 months.
