50 Years of Quartzline – Successful Customer Relationship Days

On Tuesday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 10, 2026, we proudly opened the doors of our company in Dordrecht for two festive customer relationship days to celebrate our 50th anniversary.

Customers and business partners from both the Netherlands and abroad were invited to celebrate this milestone with us. We had the pleasure of welcoming several hundred guests for a behind-the-scenes look at our company. During guided tours of our factory and laboratory, visitors gained insight into how our products are developed, tested, and manufactured. Afterwards, there was ample opportunity to exchange experiences and network while enjoying refreshments. The many positive reactions confirmed that these two days were a great success.

In 1976, Jan Kaptein and Bert Uithol laid the foundation for our company with their specialization in epoxy resin floor finishing. The company grew steadily, and in 1991 a new facility was opened on Daltonstraat in Dordrecht. By then the sole owner, Jan Kaptein continued the business under the name Quartzline BV.

In 1995, Quartzline decided to focus entirely on the development and production of flooring systems and flooring products for professional flooring contractors and finishing companies. In the same year, Jan’s son and current Managing Director, Arthur Kaptein, joined the company. In 2017, the company acquired its current premises. Today, Quartzline also operates a factory in Poland and has grown into an international player in the field of seamless flooring and wall systems.
