The renovation of Hoogvoorde Building

We are proud that Quartzline may contribute to the large-scale project: the renovation of Gebouw Hoogvoorde in Rijswijk. This building, formerly the beating heart of the municipality, is undergoing a total transformation and is being transformed into a modern living and working space.

What's on the program?

First of all, all the partition walls and old floors are being removed to make way for new, perfectly leveled floors. Quartzline deployed nearly 100 tons of our Cementitious SL Underlayment 2-20mm for this purpose. This self-leveling leveler is known for its excellent flow behavior and exceptional hardness, guaranteeing a perfectly level surface.

The approach:

In collaboration with The Grinding Company BV, the first steps were taken in this huge project. The approach is thorough: after repairing the worst floor damage with Cementitious MRP, the floor is sanded and made dust-free. Then Primer Universal is applied in preparation for leveling.

The result:

An even flat surface, ready for any type of flooring desired by the future residents, whether laminate, parquet, PVC or a stylish cast floor.
