Rainbow zebra crossing at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam

Concrete and synthetic flooring company SynTec 2000 from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht recently installed a rainbow zebra crossing at Erasmus University Rotterdam. The colored zebra crossing is an initiative of one of the university students and is located next to the De Paviljoen campus building on the Institutenlaan. The design reflects the eleven colors of the progress flag, which together symbolize all subgroups of all ethnic backgrounds in the LGBTIQ+ community.

Léon Overduin of SynTec: “It was an unusual, but fun assignment. The rainbow zebra crossing covers a total of 58 square meters and is coated with Quartzline Protect Coating GWV. This guarantees the sustainability of the path.”
