Gypsum-based levelling compound for layers of 5 to 40 mm.
Construct Alpha Underlayment 5-40mm is a gypsum-bound levelling mortar suitable for indoor levelling of calcium sulphate bound substrates (anhydrite or alpha-half-hydrate) in layer thicknesses up to 40 mm. This levelling compound is self-levelling, low in shrinkage and tension properties, quick hardening and virtually does not crack. It is also easy to pump and sand. Construct Alpha Underlayment 5-40 mm is not suitable for wooden, industrial and permanently wet floors and must be finished with a floor covering.
System explanation
The primer for floors, such as cement screeds, anhydrite floors, cement-bound levelling compounds, gypsum levelling compounds, must penetrate deep into the subfloor. Do this by diluting the Primer Universal with water in the mixing ratio 1 part primer with 3 parts water. For a closed substrate such as a tiled floor, start directly with Primer Universal without diluting.
It is essential to apply sufficient primer. This prevents cracks and too fast drying of the levelling mortar.
Suitable for underfloor heating (pay attention to heating schedule!).
