Cement-based levelling compound for layer thicknesses from 5 to 40 mm.
CONSTRUCT Cementitious SL 5–40 is a levelling system designed to create a smooth, even substrate in layer thicknesses from 5 to 40 mm. It provides an ideal base for various floor finishes such as Quartzline flooring systems, tiles, floor coverings, and parquet.
Cementitious SL 5–40 is low in shrinkage and stress, fast-curing, pumpable, and easy to sand after hardening. Suitable for use with underfloor heating and in wet areas. Not suitable for anhydrite substrates or industrial applications.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
Moisture barrier primer:
For concrete and sand-cement substrates, a maximum residual moisture content of 2.5% CM applies. For residual moisture levels up to 6% CM, apply two coats of Quartzline Primer DPM as a moisture barrier, followed by one coat of Quartzline Primer GP.
Primer:
For non-porous substrates use Primer GP and for porous substrates use Primer Universal, diluted at a ratio of 1 part primer to 3 parts water.
Levelling layer:
Choose Cementitious SL 5–40 or Cementitious SL 5–40F. Cementitious SL 5–40F is fibre-reinforced and suitable for embedding dry-build underfloor heating systems. Both variants can be applied in layer thicknesses from 5 to 40 mm.
