Light fast polyurethane floor system.

Deco UV is a popular polyurethane self-levelling floor system, especially suitable for creating attractive design floors with a high level of comfort and high UV resistance. In addition to all colours, the floor is also available in a Mixed Colour version or for broadcasting with decorative coloured flakes.

Optionally, for extra cushioning, a noise reduction of 18 decibels (▲Lw, prescribed impact sound for homes) can be achieved by installing a rubber granulate mat or a layer of liquid Quartzline Silencio dB under the cast layer.

SYSTEM EXPLANATION

Primer:
In most cases, Quartzline Primer BHH is used on porous substrates and Quartzline Primer GW on closed substrates. In specific situations, alternatives can be used: Quartzline Primer DPM for residual moisture up to 6%, Quartzline Z Speed for time-critical applications and Quartzline PU BHH as a polyurethane alternative.

Scratchcoat:
A Scratchcoat is used to fill (micro)pores, level the substrate and fully seal it. SL-EP Scratchcoat is the standard option; choose SL-PU Scratchcoat as a polyurethane alternative.

Cast layer:
There is a choice of three different cast layers:
SL-PU UV NF is the standard self-levelling floor
SL-PU UV CM NF is broadcast with decorative granules
SL-PU UV HD has a higher tensile strength than the NF

Topcoat:
Coating PU SG NF Matt or Satin Gloss is applied for a scratch-resistant surface

2nd Topcoat:
Optionally, an extra Topcoat can be applied for additional resistance

When choosing DECO UV with an impact-absorbing underlay, no Primer or Scratchcoat is required and Silencio dB can be used. Alternatively: bond rubber mats to the substrate with Quartzline PU Adhesive, seal the mats with Quartzline PU Sealcoat and then apply a Scratchcoat of Quartzline SL-PU D30.
