The floor is made from a polymethyl methacrylate resin that can be applied with or without a crack-bridging membrane. Despite its short curing time, PMMA is easy to process.

The result is a floor that lasts for years and is, above all, hygienic, anti-slip and extremely wear-resistant.

The neutral colours are available in the QMI mixes, 30 standard colours.

Consult the QMI sample book for examples and colours.

System explanation:
The system can be expanded with an optional crack-bridging membrane.

Always start with Primer Plex 1120, applied with notched strip 4700-280 B2 or a fleece roller. Broadcast the wet Primer with fire-dried quartz.
If you apply the Primer with a roller or trowel, there is a risk that the Primer is not applied thick enough, which may prevent it from curing properly.

Apply Plex 1510 with notched strip 4676-000-S2 so that the correct layer thickness is applied. Keep the notched strip holder upright while applying the structural layer and regularly check that the teeth of the notched strip are not worn.

Allow the product to flow before broadcasting. Always empty the full contents of the bucket in one go to prevent a rapid reaction of material in the bucket.
Broadcast the structural layer with Mortar 0.4-0.8 mm until no wet spots remain.
Ensure sufficient ventilation while applying the floor.

The next layer is Topcoat Plex 1690. The anti-slip level depends on the finish. Heavy anti-slip R12 wipe 250 g/m2, anti-slip R11 trowel 600 g/m2. Light anti-slip R10 2x wipe 780 g/m2.

Ideal for:

  • Galleries
  • Commercial kitchens
  • Washrooms
  • Industrial flooring
  • Food industry
